Solving systemic racial inequalities is what you might call “heavy lifting” but damn it if a pair of Brooklyn technologists aren’t putting in work.

Join Catt Small and Amelie Lamont on June 7 for their Good for PoC (People of Color) in Tech launch event at the Microsoft Technology Center in Times Square.

A few months ago, Small (our 2015 Brooklyn Technologist of the Year) announced with Lamont and a third friend,Jacky Alcine, an initiative to figure out what tech companies are friendly to and comfortable for people of color, and which aren’t. The trio pushed out a survey for friends and others in the tech community asking for their feedback and experiences in technology.
