Living Security announced that they closed a $1.25 million seed round with lead venture capital firms and area angel investors. Active Capital led the round, which includes investment from Cathexis Ventures and Capital Factory.
Living Security is a cyber security training company, working to reduce cyber risk through impactful, human-focused training.
Because of the increasing demand for cyber security awareness, Living Security entered the market to provide engaging and gamified security awareness training. They have successfully done this through their original product the Living Security Escape Room, reaching thousands of people all over the U.S., and the recent launch of their digital training platform Cyber Escape.
Living Security is working with over 50 companies, many of which are in the Fortune 500. Living Security will use these funds for continued product growth and go-to-market execution.
"We are excited to scale our products and grow the impact of our mission to help organizations combat cyber threats through immersive and impactful security awareness training experiences," said Ashley Rose, CEO of Living Security.
Living Security would like to extend special thanks to the advisors and team members that supported them through this round and the launch of Cyber Escape, their immersive security awareness training platform.
Living Security's growth wouldn't be possible without the support and partnership of their customers and investors. Lead investor Pat Matthews, founder and CEO of Active Capital, was instrumental throughout the funding process and will join Living Security's board of directors in November.
"We are thrilled for the continued support of our investors and the new partnerships that this round brings," said Rose. "Partnering with these investors will allow us to continue growing and scaling our security awareness training program to meet the growing demand worldwide for impactful security awareness training experiences."
