Correlation Closes Second Fund At $200M

Correlation Ventures said it has closed its second fund at $200 million, according to a press release.

The San Diego firm now has $366 million of assets under management.

Correlation began raising the new fund in 2015, according to filing with the SEC. In July 2016, it reported closing on $188 million toward the fund, according to a separate SEC filing.

In the release, Correlation said it invested in 121 companies in its first fund and is now investing out of Correlation 2. The first fund was $136 million, according to Thomson Reuters.

The firm uses predictive analytics in its investment decisions.
