Maryland Confirms 1,471 New Coronavirus Cases, Hospitalizations Decrease Slightly to 1,200

After two days of confirming new cases in the mid-800s, Maryland’s coronavirus caseload on Wednesday grew by 1,471 newly reported cases.

At least 420,526 Marylanders have tested positive for COVID-19, while 3,206,659 have tested negative as of Wednesday morning, according to the Maryland Department of Health’s COVID-19 Case Map Dashboard.
