In a ribbon cutting ceremony held on April 11th, The Engel Burman Group (EBG) officially announced the opening of The Bristal at Jericho, the seventeenth community of The Bristal in EBG’s expansive assisted living portfolio.
Located at 310 Jericho Turnpike in Jericho, the 200,000-square-foot, three-story residence situated on nine acres, offers 180 apartments, comprised of 144 assisted living units and 36 memory care apartments that are located in the Reflections area, dedicated to providing care for residents with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia.

Currently occupied by more than 50 residents, in studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments, rental rates at The Bristal at Jericho, including hospitality services, start at $6,500. In addition to the amenities and services provided in the daily rent, some residents may require assistance with their personal care needs such as, bathing, dressing, and medication management.
Amenities at the new community include an outdoor pool, Bistro Grille, fitness center, on-site cinema, library, card and billiard room, performing arts center, plus a wide variety of activities and programs for residents including arts and crafts, book clubs, shopping trips, and regularly scheduled cultural outings. There is ample outdoor parking for residents and guests, and the property is situated less than an hour’s drive from Manhattan. The Bristal at Jericho is located on the same campus as The Bristal Grand, a luxury rental community for those 55 and over, which is scheduled to open in May 2019.
Senior citizens are the largest and fastest growing segment of the U.S. population, the group of 65+ has grown by over 15% in the last 15 years and now represents 13% of the total American population. The Engel Burman Group has six more assisted living communities in the pipeline.
