Fisher Brothers announced today that it has signed a new 19,871-square-foot lease with Day Pitney at 605 Third Avenue, its signature 1.1 million-square-foot office tower in Midtown Manhattan.
With 300 experienced attorneys in 11 offices across the East Coast, Day Pitney represents a variety of clients from individuals to Fortune 100 companies. Under the 10-year lease, the firm will relocate its New York office from 7 Times Square to the entire 31stfloor of the tower in the first quarter of 2019.
Fisher Brothers has now successfully secured approximately 300,000 square feet of leases at 605 Third Avenue since completing a wide-ranging $25 million capital improvement program in early 2016.
“We are pleased to welcome Day Pitney, the latest blue-chip firm to join 605 Third Avenue’s esteemed tenant roster,” said Fisher Brothers Partner Ken Fisher. “The newly-renovated tower continues to attract the city’s premier companies that are drawn to its innovative design, top-quality office space, and high-end tenant services.”
Day Pitney was represented in the transaction by Ken Siegel and Chris Kraus of JLL. Fisher Brothers was represented in-house by Marc Packman and Clark Briffel, as well as by Bruce Mosler, Louis D’Avanzo, Andrew Ross, Michael Baraldi, and Maria Travlos of Cushman & Wakefield.
Designed by David Rockwell and the Rockwell Group, the centerpiece of the renovation project was the creation of a brand new building entrance and a more spacious and inviting lobby, highlighted by a sleek feature wall composed of brass panels. In addition, David Rockwell and the LAB at Rockwell Group worked with Fisher Brothers to install two oversized digital glass windows in the lobby that are designed to function as giant kaleidoscopes and serve as a form of public art.
To further enhance the tenant experience, Fisher Brothers recently announced that it is partnering with Convene, the nation’s fastest growing office services provider, to create a tenant amenity space and conference center at 605 Third Avenue. The seventh floor space, which will be serviced by Convene’s roster of world-class hospitality professionals, will feature a variety of meeting spaces, a gourmet café, tenant access to an outdoor terrace and comfortable lounge seating areas.
Originally built by Fisher Brothers in 1963, 605 Third Avenue is certified LEED Gold by the U.S. Green Building Council for its highly efficient and environmentally sustainable working environment. Located in close proximity to Grand Central Terminal, the Class-A tower’s esteemed tenant roster includes Informa, Univision, AECOM, David Hutcher & Citron LLP, and the United Nations Population Fund.
