MG Developer continues to make its mark as a genuine Coral Gables-based developer, hosting the official launch party of Coral Gables The Magazine at the recently completed Biltmore Parc. Held on May 30th, the event featured Gables-based sponsors Bacardi, MG Developer, Infiniti, Zucca, and a silent auction benefitting the Coral Gables Community Foundation. Special guests included Coral Gables Mayor Raúl Valdés-Fauli and Bacardi’s Juan Bergaz Pessino, with more than 200 attendees celebrating the community’s first lifestyle magazine focusing on local events, people, businesses, and all things in The City Beautiful.
Guests enjoyed specially crafted drinks from Bacardi and curated hors d’ouevres by Zucca, with live music from bossa nova artists Mari Macedo and Claudio Spiewak setting the tone for a memorable evening in one of the city’s latest developments. Remarks by Mayor Valdés-Fauli, Bergaz Pessino, Coral Gables The Magazine Publisher Rich Roffman, MG Developer CEO Alirio Torrealba, Robert Avison of Infiniti and Daniel Guerra of Fortune marked the beginning of what is now the latest premier publication to reach Coral Gables businesses and residents.
“We are always looking to promote Coral Gables in ways that truly make it a unique center of modernity and culture,” said Alirio Torrealba, CEO of MG Developer. “Partnerships with locally-based businesses, restaurants, and charitable organizations make these celebrations worthwhile, and we look forward to continue celebrating The City Beautiful as one of its most engaged community members.”
Founded in 2015, MG Developer is dedicated to creating boutique residences that bring residents close to fine dining, renowned recreational areas, national landmarks, and cultural points of interest. The firm consistently provides new works of art displayed throughout the city as part of its commitment to supporting international artists, most recently with its presentation of three pop-up galleries in Downtown Coral Gables.
MG Developer will also debut an original stone bench sculpture designed by Roberto Behar & Rosario Marquardt of R & R studios entitled “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” decorating Balboa Plaza. The public work of art will debut this summer.
