Elite Real Estate Pros Examine City’s Visionary New Projects

The Gold Coast Master Brokers Forum (MBF), a networking group comprised of South Florida’s top residential real estate agents, recently held a dinner event hosted by 30 Thirty North Ocean; a luxury boutique condominium development from Cavache Properties. The event was highlighted by a dynamic presentation about the promising future of greater Ft. Lauderdale and Broward County.

More than 80 Master Brokers attended the event, held in the City’s historic Coral Ridge Yacht Club. After a festive cocktail reception, guests were seated and welcomed by Gold Coast MBF chair Carolyn Block Ellert, who introduced event emcee and MBF board member Liz Caldwell. Caldwell offered her personal and professional thoughts on the county’s real estate market conditions, before introducing 30 Thirty North Ocean sales executive Maya Sherrill, who educated the assembled Master Brokers on the unique new project.

30 Thirty North Ocean is a chic, urban beach lifestyle condominium project located in the upscale Lauderdale Beach neighborhood in Fort Lauderdale. 30 Thirty North Ocean features 24 residences and six different three bedroom, 3 ½ bathroom floorplans starting at $1.2 million to $1.55 million.

Situated 10 blocks north of the world-renowned Fort Lauderdale Beach, and among a neighborhood of $2.5 million-plus homes, 30 Thirty North Ocean will be located on the last parcel of its size in Lauderdale Beach. The estimated completion date is fourth quarter 2018.

This was followed by a presentation from Jim Ellis, Ft. Lauderdale’s 2014 “Citizen of the Year” and president of Ellis Diversified, Inc., a local development and investment firm. Ellis’ presentation focused on the visionary infrastructural, commercial, residential, and retail projects that will impact the city’s downtown district, as well as the county as a whole. These included the county’s multi-billion-dollar air and seaport expansions, All Aboard Florida, the Flagler Village Transportation Hub, Broward County’s new government campus, and a flurry of downtown apartments and condominiums. He also touched upon the City’s cutting-edge branding and marketing campaigns, and his personal efforts to preserve and revitalize Ft. Lauderdale’s Hugh Taylor Birch State Park.

“This is such an exciting time to be involved in Broward County and Ft. Lauderdale real estate, with so many amazing projects poised to take our region to the next level of greatness,” said Block Ellert. “We appreciate Mr. Ellis taking the time to educate and enlighten us, and our friends at 30 Thirty North Ocean making us feel so welcome and appreciated.”
