Italian Home Furnishings Retailer to Open First Free-Standing Store in NYC at 55 Thompson Street
Manhattan Skyline Management Corp. is pleased to announce that Calligaris, has signed a long-term lease for its first solo, free-standing retail store in New York City, located at the base of luxury residential building 55 Thompson Street. The retail address of the store is 520 Broome Street.
Consisting of approximately 3,582 square-feet of ground floor space and soaring 15 foot ceilings, the SoHo Calligaris store will feature over 40 feet of frontage on Thompson Street with plentiful foot traffic. The store will be operated by Niki and Shaokao Cheng, who also own all of the New York City locations of global retail furniture chain BoConcept.
Joshua Roth, Vice President of Retail Leasing at Manhattan Skyline, represented the landlord on the transaction. Jason Pruger and Harrison Abramowitz of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank represented the tenant.
