Swander Pace Capital, a leading private equity investment firm focused on consumer products, has hired industry veteran Robert Vassel as principal and has announced two investment staff promotions.
Mr. Vassel will focus on Swander Pace Capital’s business development efforts, researching and developing opportunities for new investments. Mr. Vassel most recently spent 18 years at The Clorox Company in various assignments across key brands, such as Hidden Valley, Glad, Burt’s Bees, Armor All, and Clorox. Most recently, he led efforts in acquiring new growth businesses as the vice president of corporate development focused on mergers and acquisitions.
Swander Pace Capital also announced two promotions on its investment staff. Tyler Matlock, a vice president, has been promoted to senior vice president. Mr. Matlock has been with Swander Pace Capital since 2008 and is based in the firm’s New Jersey office.
Tara Hyland, an associate in Swander Pace Capital’s San Francisco office, has been promoted to senior associate. Ms. Hyland joined SPC in 2015.
