Lina Viviano has been named the Sales Director of TOWN’s Astor Place office. In addition to her role as Director of Professional Development, Lina will lead the sales team at TOWN Astor Place alongside Julia Miller, Larry Goldblatt and Flori Del Valle.
Lina is an associate real estate broker and a respected New York City-based litigator with over twenty years' experience in the legal industry who is steeped in the knowledge of residential real estate mortgages and complex business transactions. She has been an integral member of the TOWN management team who, since the earliest days of the company's founding and her positions at TOWN, has been respected by all for offering balanced and thoughtful input.
Lina also leads our highly-regarded professional development platform, The Astor Room, with an unwavering commitment to the growth and success of TOWN Representatives. Recognizing that the best Representative is a well-rounded professional, she has designed course offerings that include relevant industry topics and panels from understanding the intricacies of the sales transaction, perfecting the exclusive presentation, honing the board package preparation, to networking for even greater success, among so many others.

Complimenting her innate passion as a native and lifelong New Yorker, Lina also has extensive knowledge of the City, its history, and the ever-changing landscape. As the founder of Gotham Walking Tours, a historical consulting and walking tour company, and a licensed professional New York City guide, she has spent many years researching the history of New York City and the changing nature of its diverse neighborhoods, residences, and real estate market. She has spearheaded TOWN's ground-breaking Neighborhood Certification Program and has also been instrumental in helping Representatives weave the rich historical and architectural fabric of this extraordinary City into their written sales collateral.
Lina is a summa cum laude graduate of Queens College of the City University of New York, holds a Master's degree in American Government from Harvard University, and received a Juris Doctor degree from New York University School of Law where she was awarded with top honors for her oratorical skills. She also taught American Government and History courses as a Teaching Fellow at Harvard University.
