DeSimone Consulting Engineers, a leading structural engineering firm with eight offices worldwide, has relocated its New York City office to 140 Broadway in Lower Manhattan.
DeSimone, a leading provider of structural engineering services to architects, owners, and developers nationally and internationally, will occupy more than 25,000 square feet of space on the 25th floor of the 51-story SOM-designed, Class A property located on Broadway between Liberty and Cedar streets. DeSimone was represented by Signature Partners and Cushman & Wakefield represented the landlord. DeSimone previously was located in the Flatiron District.

DeSimone has provided engineering services for a host of high-profile New York City developments in recent years, including supertalls such as 220 Central Park South, 45 East 22nd Street, and 101 Murray, as well as new residential projects including, 50 West, 100 East 53rd Street, 125 Greenwich Street, and ZahaHadid’s only New York Project, 520 West 28th Street.
DeSimone recently launched a new Property Loss Consulting Division that allows the company to assist existing clients long after its design and construction support services have been completed. The company also was recently awarded the NJCA top prize, the 2016 Grand Award, for its work on Harborside Plaza VII in Jersey City, NJ.
