Rick Lowe of Cresa Boston recently represented Covington Associates in a 7,109-square-foot new office lease for a portion of the 2nd floor at 99 Summer Street in Boston, Mass.
Covington Associates is an investment banking firm providing advisory services to the healthcare, business services, consumer & industrial, and technology industries. It has offices located in Boston and New York.
Covington Associates currently occupies space at 265 Franklin Street.
According to Lowe, Covington Associates’ goal was close proximity to South Station. He said 99 Summer Street offered the most attractive long-term space solution and full-service building amenities, leading to the decision to relocate to the building.
Barry Dubé and Mike McCormick from Cresa’s Project Management Group are overseeing the buildout of the space.
The projected move-in date is October 1, 2016.
The landlord, Rockpoint Group LLC, was represented by JLL in this transaction.
