Cushman & Wakefield today announced that Thomas J. Donovan has accepted a new position with Asset Services as Director, Senior Portfolio Manager. In his new role, Donovan will directly support the New England Asset Services Portfolio, concentrating on new business development and account oversight in the Connecticut and Rhode Island markets.

As the General Manager of Cushman & Wakefield Investors Services property team in Rhode Island, Donovan was responsible for asset, property, project and lease management services for some of Cushman & Wakefield’s most highly valued clients, including Brown University, Women & Infants Hospital and Coastal Care Medical. He joined Cushman & Wakefield’s New England office in 2008 and has more than 20 years of real estate management experience. Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Donovan worked for 14 years internationally in Asia Pacific for a Cushman & Wakefield Alliance member company (Bayleys Real Estate, NZ). During this period, Donovan was known for being a dynamic senior real estate professional who managed downtown mixed-use high-rise buildings and high-tech office park developments. Driven by his innate passion for property, he gained valuable experience in many facets the industry including facility engineering, property/asset management, leasing, condo management and portfolio management. Donovan is also a licensed salesperson and works comfortably with brokerage teams.

Donovan is a member of the Providence Foundation and board member of the Jewelry District Association in Rhode Island. He obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Bryant University.
